Artist Shelly Reeves Smith
With each stroke of her paintbrush, Shelly Reeves Smith has been bringing watercolor artistry to life for over 20 years. Shelly and a friend started a greeting-card company, Among Friends, in 1988 and it flourished for 11 years until they sold it to The Lang Companies in 1999. Since then, Shelly has licensed her beautiful home and garden illustrations to various companies, including Lang and Easton Publishing Company, Inc.
Inspired by the picturesque Ozark Mountains, the oldest mountain range in the U.S., Shelly’s artwork fosters a “less rushed” 
way of life. Her watercolor illustrations of nature and a simpler life remind us to slow down and remember the important things — family & friends. Shelly’s style of elegance and simplicity warm the hearts of those who enjoy her work, be it one of her greeting cards, calendars, cookbooks, stationery, gifts or home decor.
This talented artist lives in the Ozarks of Southern Missouri. Her artist studio is based near Nixa, where she lives with her husband, Don, and a house full of lovable canines.
